I agree with Erin. If I touched a human at room temp, they would feel "cold" to my touch. But to get shivery from being in a room with them? Not so much.

And the werewolf thing: I've read the books twice and saw both movies, and this is what I gathered.. The werewolves are there BECAUSE the vampires are there. From my understanding, the only time the werewolf "gene" is activated is when there are vampires in close proximity. The reasoning seems to be that werewolves are the only things that can stop vampires, ergo, we have werewolves.

For the record, IMHO, Mike's a douchebag. A persistent douchebag. I'm team Alice/Jasper. They're my favorites. For me, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson ruined Twilight. They are not at ALL like I'd imagined in my head. I think KS is a terrible actress and not what I envisioned Bella to be like. I loved Dakota Fanning as Jane, but in reading the books, I expected Jane and Alec to be a lot younger, 9 or 10. But that's just my opinion.

I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts on Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!

As long as we are making Buffy/Twilight comparisons I would like to throw one of my own on the table. As a diehard Buffy fan I can tell you that vampires should be room temp as noted in season 4 when the Initiative is hunting Hostile 17. And it makes sense, no blood flow to warm the body and they're not hanging out in an ice box. So why then is Edward so dam cold that he makes Bella shiver just by being in the room. I would take Angel or Spike over Edward any day.
